Music Director/Conductor/Professor of Frost Opera Theater at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami since 2006. New and recent opera presented with guest composers include Philip Glass, Anthony Davis, Douglas Como, Libby Larson, Mary Ellen Childs, John Duffy, Michael Torke, Michael Dellaria, Martin Bresnick, Richard Wargo, Michael Daugherty, Tina Davidson. Collaborations through Opera America Discovery Grants for Women Composers and the Duffy Institute for New Opera at the Virginia Arts Festival. Interested in discussing nationwide collaborative efforts with artistic and administrative teams to promote new and recent opera. My own experience dates from New York residence and engagements with new opera since 1986.
