John Abodeely serves at the deputy director of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, handling operations, strategy, finance, and program expansion, while supporting major fundraising activities. His expertise includes trans-institutional programs, community and school district planning, nonprofit performance coaching and social sector management innovation. Abodeely has served as a graduate instructor in education policy at the Corcoran College of Art and Design and on the board of the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative, and has been a panelist for national, state, and local grants and awards. He earned his B.A. cum laude in biology and fine arts at Amherst College and his MBA at Johns Hopkins University.
