I am an opera composer. I also teach at New York University's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, a 2-year MFA program training composers and librettists to create opera and musical theatre. At NYU, I run the Tisch Opera Lab, in conjunction with American Opera Projects and director Sam Helfrich.
